Sorry that I have been away for a while… My friend and web person, Reba, says I fall into a black hole! lol.. I’m afraid she’s right, except for it’s not so much a black hole, as much as a whole filled with sunshine and cooking large meals and wading through fields of weeds and thistles to get to the wild raspberries and saskatoons on the other side;) I must say that I enjoy being in Canada because I do a lot more living than I do writing, certainly lots of work to do here but more in the form off housework, yard work,weeding, planting, cooking, laundry.. etc..but without the living and all that goes with it.. there is nothing to write about.
I was reading some CS Lewis last night. You know, when someone asks you who the one person in heaven, besides Jesus you’d like to meet? Well, for me.. that would have to be Lewis.. I am gonna post a few of his inspiring words later this week… but back to the berries! We have been picking raspberries and saskatoons, which both grow wild on our property here.. it is so wonderful.. kind of like a miracle, every time you find one of those bright red rubies that God Himself, planted for you to pick.. like a precious gem. The girls love it.. it feels like treasure hunting.. the only downside being the mosquitoes which are horrendous this year. Oh well, the good with the bad right:-) Life is good here and God is good everywhere. I pray you are each having a great summer.. here in Canada we have another month left before we are back to school…. making the most of each day. Be back soon if I don’t fall into a raspberry patch;-)
