I am so sorry that today, i am operating, for the most part, in all lower case, just one of those days. I am also sorry that that I lead you down the winding roads of Montana, through the mountaintops and sunsets and then fell of the map. we arrived in AZ last Thursday and have had some friends here. I have to tell you that I am feeling a little guilty about laps in the pool and walks in the desert.. i don’t have a guitar or a piano here, it’s kind of silly that it is so hard to relax but that is what we are doing, short of emails, cooking and uh, this blog:-) so I am loading up on ideas and inspiration before going to Nashville to write and write and sing and sing.
We have two days left here in AZ… leave for Nashville on Sunday..
I am excited to see the fall colors there..
Hope it is fall, wherever you are today.
cheers,
c

Hello Cindy! Well, I live here in Phoenix AZ and wish we had some kind of fall, besides hot weather, hotter weather and weather that will allow you to go outside. I hope you are enjoying your time here in Arizona. I can’t wait to hear your new music inspired by the desert!
Rain for two and then finally the sun showed up! I’ve been lookin’ for that rainbow…. see it??? : )
Hi Cindy, Good luck with all your writing and singing. Looking forword to you new CD.
Cheers,

I just want to know.. WHERE CAN CANADIANS get a physical copy of ST. LOLA’S?
As a fellow Canadian, I would hope the Cindy would make that CD available on AMAZON.ca, not just AMAZON.COM.
Us Canadians always get the short end of the stick.
COME ON CINDY!!!! Help us CANADIANS out!
“lower case” i like the image. larry norman used to use lower cases a lot when referring to himself. from what i read here, at least between the lines, is the sense of being lost for a time. not lost in the sense of physical space, but in a type of detachment from who you are and even why you are. i feel like that a lot and maybe i am just reading me in your words, but in any case i have come to this conclusion (at least for now). God’s Grace is sufficient and the just shall live by Faith. Faith is what keeps me going when i feel nothing. when all seems lost, i can find it in Faith. and when that doesn’t seem to matter or mean anything, well i take all that emptiness, hold it up to God and say… it’s not about me anyway. i am not here because of any choice of mine, and how it will end and what happens after is all in God’s hands. He is the focus, the meaning, the feeling and the true absolute. and some day He will free us from our limited sight, our limited senses, and our finite thoughts.
